It is important to realize that as common as they are, headaches are a sign that there is a problem, it could be stress, allergies, dehydration, a slight illness, and especially in Phoenix a rapid temperature change from moving in and out of air conditioned environments.

A commonly overlooked cause has to do with spinal bones being out of position or moving incorrectly. This can cause nerves and vessels to the head to become aggravated as they are stretched and irritated, causing throbbing headaches. Pain relievers are just that, they relieve the pain, they do not correct the underlying problem.
